I finally found a post with active links for the whole thing. Some purists won't like mp3, but at least it's available. Email me for the info.

Pretty uncool, Brian.

I guess your parents didnt do a very good job of teaching you right from wrong.

I dont think stealing from from the Grateful Dead is a good idea. And facilitating it here is pretty lame.

Spread your bad kharma somewhere else...

I'm not stealing anything. The internet is like panning for gold. You go through a lot of useless junk before you find anything of worth. I am not the author of the post. All I know is that the source is Canadian. If there's any thievery going on, please direct your opinions up north.

That's one way to look at it, however you're still stealing and you shouldn't advocate it here.

Did they sell all their Europe Boxes? what, 7,500? GDP will probably be selling single Europe 72 shows soon. I have alot of CM's anyhow, from LL and tree. I wouldn't be able to hear the difference unless i had a high end stereo

I would agree with Cliff on this one. We all know you can get anything you desire on the web. It would be terrible to lose the GD section of the Archive due to some unprincipled posts. This is another offense like Oh_Um_Me_O_My's show reviews detailing how to download SBD's. These posts aren't acceptable here.

320 kbps - it'll do until the real thing arrives. It took a while to download (taking the free option rather than the costlier fast download), re-label all the tracks as per my chosen standard, burn the CD-Rs and back-up to (duplicate) external hard-drives) but nothing worth having comes easy.

To be honest I might not even bother getting the discs out of the sleeves (and risk damaging them [the sleeves] in the process) and just listen to these downloads, keeping the real thing for posterity or whatever ........

Keep on Turckin' (sic)

All you got is mp3's? I know two places torrenting FLACs, but damned if I'm saying where. If you're going to spend your time listening to these concerts, you may as well compensate the artists and engineers for the time they spent getting them to you. All the Music sets are still available for only about $6 per CD.

I received my box set this weekend. Well worth the time and effort. So far I am very impressed with the sound! It surely outshines the DP releases that I have heard, which is not many, but comparing this set to the later DP from 72, well, there's no comparison.

thats the difference of 2 track vs. multitrack. Its a crying shame that the fall 72 shows are typically shitty sounding. Some of the best music ever played by the band. Cant imagine what it would be like in multitrack.

I'd still rather see 9/21/72 (DP 36) over any europe 72 show.
